Motiva 340/320, axillary incision
I'm 174cm with broad shoulders, so even though I was an A cup, it looked even smaller on me.
I'd wanted a breast augmentation since my mid-20s but was too scared to go through with it. Then I had two kids, and by 45 I realized I'd just keep regretting it forever if I didn't do something — I figured I'd still regret it at 60, so I finally made up my mind. I chose UNE because Dr. Kim only does breast surgery, there's an anesthesiologist on site, and most of all, a friend who had it done there had great results and said it was hardly any pain, which gave this total chicken the courage to go for it. On top of that, the surgery only took under half an hour, which seemed like it'd mean lower infection risk and more stable rates for capsular contracture — it made me trust that Dr. Kim had to be extremely skilled.
I healed smoothly too — it wasn't nearly as hard as all those sleepless nights of worrying made it seem. It wasn't really pain, more like the soreness you get after a solid upper-body workout, and that only lasted about two days.
Honestly, I should have done it much earlier instead of spending all that time hesitating over it.
I'm only a week in and still not used to having so much more volume, but the more I look at it, the more amazed I am. My confidence is up and I'm really happy with it.
