Breast Asymmetry Correction with Lift: Week 2 Review

I finally got the breast surgery I'd been putting off forever, haha... The clinic really specializes in breast surgery, so the aftercare was super systematic. They kept close tabs on my recovery too.

I also got a lift done to correct my breast asymmetry! (Fair warning, the photos might look a little rough...)

I actually had decent volume already, but the asymmetry bothered me so much, and it just kept getting worse as I got older.

It wasn't both sides sagging - just one side, and that honestly stressed me out so much.

Breast surgery is nerve-wracking enough on its own, and since the saggy side needed a lift, I was really worried about the scarring... I almost just left it alone lol, but I decided to trust Dr. Kim Uigeon and went ahead with it!!

I went around to about 4 different clinics before landing on UNE!

Both the coordinator and Dr. Kim were really kind during the consultation.

I had so many questions, and since there are so many different types of lift incisions, I think I ended up asking about every single one.

They answered everything thoroughly and put my mind completely at ease.

I also liked that they didn't push me toward a bigger size - they recommended something that actually matched my body type.

I was so nervous lying on the operating table, but the coordinator really helped calm me down, which I appreciated a lot.

I guess I got lucky with the pain management, because I honestly don't remember it hurting much at all!

I went out for samgyeopsal and even hit the movies right after surgery, lol.

It only felt a little uncomfortable when lying down or getting up, but nothing serious at all!

I thought it would feel really strange after surgery, but the shape, the cleavage, even the texture - none of it felt off at all, which honestly surprised me.

It hasn't even been two weeks yet, so the two sides still look a bit different, but I think that's just from swelling differences because of the lift.

Honestly the scar looks pretty rough right now, so it'll take a while before I get used to it...

I'm planning to be really diligent about scar care!!

They said it can take anywhere from 3 months up to a year for things to settle into place fully, so I hope time flies and I get used to it soon.
