It has already been a week since my breast surgery, and it still has not fully sunk in, haha. I was incredibly nervous before the operation, but it ended far sooner than I expected! Mine took only about 40 minutes, which genuinely surprised me. Maybe because I was on the pain-control drip, waking from anesthesia was harder than any pain at the surgical site — but that passed quickly too!

The day after surgery, the swelling was definitely at its worst and my body felt a bit stiff. Still, it never hurt as much as I had feared, and apart from when lying down, there was hardly any pain. Over time the bruising and swelling faded quickly, and by now things look much more natural.

When I first touched my chest after the operation, there was almost no sensation, which felt strange — but day by day I can feel the sensation returning slowly from the outer areas inward. The nipple area is still a bit dull, but I am told that is part of recovery, so I am waiting with an easy mind, haha.

Daily activities came back sooner than expected too! From day one I could brush my teeth by myself without trouble, and since washing my hair needed careful arm movement, I started doing that on my own from week one. Now I can handle almost all of daily life, and I am pleased with the pace of recovery.

Above all, the before-and-after difference is unmistakable, and I could not be happier. Clothes fit differently and my line looks prettier, so every glance in the mirror lifts my mood, haha. It is only week one and things still need to settle, but my satisfaction is already high and I am excited for what is next! The director and staff keep checking in on me, so I am recovering with real peace of mind!!
