I finally got the breast surgery I have dreamed of since becoming an adult!! I had it done at UNE! I place a lot of weight on how a doctor treats patients during consultation,, and Dr. Kim Uigeon explained everything so professionally — the surgical method, the implant and size that suit me, even the aftercare — that I trusted him completely!

It has been one week! First off, my condition and healing came along so well that I thought — this is why people choose him! Haha. Of course there was pain after the operation~! I already knew my tissue type was not the most forgiving, so I had braced myself. My left pocket is slightly smaller, which may be why the left side hurt more ㅠ But amazingly, the right side was completely comfortable, hahaha. It made me realize once again why operating according to your pocket and body type matters so much~

They say the compression bra can chafe, so wearing a camisole underneath helps~! But even wearing it directly, I had no discomfort or chafing! If anything, I felt uneasy without the compression bra, so keeping it on actually put me at ease!!!

At the consultation I kept stressing — natural, above all!! I said I wanted around a full B to C! My ribcage and shoulders are quite narrow•• so anything big would have felt overwhelming~! Honestly, just having breasts at all makes me so happy, hahaha. Motiva 285 was absolutely the right call!!

Also, the swelling after surgery is intense! But as time passes, it drains downward from the top..? You can literally watch the swelling descend like a tube deflating, haha. When the swelling sat near my collarbones there were little popping, bubbling sounds — apparently that is a normal part of the swelling going down, so no need to worry!

I think eating well, sleeping well, and managing your condition is what matters most after surgery. I ate protein every day, slept, and did nothing — maybe that is why my condition bounced back quickly!! The consultant kept in touch after surgery to check on me and made sure I was wearing the compression band correctly, which was reassuring.
