AA Cup, Pectus-Type Chest: Motiva 285cc Axillary Dual Plane, Week 1 Review

I finally got the boob job I've been dreaming about since I became an adult!! Got it done at UNE! When I'm consulting somewhere, how they treat you as a patient really matters to me... and Dr. Kim Uigeon walked me through the surgical method, the right implant for me, sizing, and aftercare so thoroughly and professionally that I felt really confident going with him!

Basically no natural volume to start, AA cup, slight pectus-type chest, chest size 65, breast base width 11.5/12

Surgery)

Motiva 285cc on both sides, axillary incision, dual plane

It's been a week since my surgery! My condition and recovery have honestly been so smooth that I was like "yep, this is why you go to Dr. Kim" haha. Of course there was some pain after the surgery. I already knew my skin type isn't the type that bounces back super easily, so I was somewhat prepared for it. My left breast base was a little smaller, so the pain on that side was noticeably worse. But weirdly, my right side barely hurt at all lol. It really made me realize how important it is to get surgery that's tailored to your own breast base and body type.

They told me that with a compression bra, wearing a tank top underneath helps with chafing. But honestly, even without one, I didn't feel any discomfort or rubbing. Still, not wearing the compression bra made me anxious, so keeping it on just gave me peace of mind!!!

During my consult I kept emphasizing that I wanted things to look natural no matter what, and that I wanted to go from a full B to around a C. Since my chest and shoulders are pretty narrow, I felt like going bigger would've looked like too much. Honestly just having actual breasts made me so happy lol. I really feel like going with 285cc Motiva was the right call!!

Also, the swelling right after surgery is intense! But as time passes, you can actually watch it go down from the top toward the bottom...? It's like the swelling drains out like a tube, and you can literally see it happening lol. When there's swelling around the collarbone, you get this weird fizzy, popping sound, but they told me that's totally normal as part of the swelling going down, so no need to stress about it!

I think the most important thing after surgery is just eating well, sleeping well, and taking care of your overall condition. I basically ate protein every day, slept a ton, and didn't do much else, and my body bounced back pretty quickly!! The coordinator also kept checking in on me after the surgery, asking about my condition and making sure I was wearing the compression band correctly, which put me at ease.

This is my before photo, and wow, everyone really does say breast surgery gives you some of the highest satisfaction out there, and I get it now lol!!
