Mentor Xtra Breast Augmentation with Axillary Incision: 3 Month Review

Before surgery

I used to just go from store to store looking for the best push-up bras, trying to fake some kind of shape out of my pectus-type chest. I always told myself that if I ever had the money, breast surgery would be the very first thing I'd spend it on, so I saved up hard and confidently walked into UNE.

Dr. Kim Uigeon honestly felt like a father figure to me. During the consultation he never pushed extra stuff on me - he just gave it to me straight and matched everything to what I actually wanted. All the way up to surgery day he made sure my asymmetry was addressed, adjusted for my droopy chest to get the position and angle just right, and placed exactly the cc I wanted of the Mentor Xtra implants. A skilled doctor really is a skilled doctor. The surgery itself took under half an hour, and that wasn't because the clinic was rushing patients through - it was because it was done with such precision, no unnecessary bleeding, and the discomfort was manageable the whole way through. Of course since it's surgery, you do feel something when you wake up, but honestly it felt more like a tiny ache than real pain. It wasn't just talk either - I actually went to work that same day. I'm from out of town, and even on the ride back from Seoul, at work, and while sleeping, I healed with barely any discomfort, no visible scarring at the incision, and no swelling or bruising. I also had accessory breast lipo and trap muscle Botox done at the same time, and I'm so, so happy with how it all turned out. Seriously, do it all together if you can - there's no downside to combining procedures. I'd totally recommend doing it all at once!

I used to think being flat-chested and slim was just the trend everyone was following, so I went along with it too, but now that I have a bigger chest, I feel like I actually won. The shape is so pretty, and now that everything's fully healed, I can confidently wear a bigger cup bra and everything sits together so nicely.
