I've always been self-conscious about having so little to work with up top, so I finally decided to get surgery this time!!

I ended up at UNE after a friend recommended it, and both the coordinator and Dr. Kim who consulted with me were so kind and answered every question I had in detail! During the consultation they mentioned that since I'm on the taller side, going a bit bigger with the implants wouldn't look too obvious, and I really feel like they picked the right size for my body.

It's been 2 weeks now. I'd never been under anesthesia before so I was pretty nervous, but knowing there was an anesthesiologist on staff at the clinic really put my mind at ease.

The surgery actually went by really quickly — I think it only took about 35 minutes. UNE is known for short surgery times and minimal pain, and honestly, when I woke up from the anesthesia it just felt tight and sore, nothing worse than that. It was totally fine!

I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain, but it was bearable. After the surgery, Dr. Kim and the coordinator both came by to let me know everything went well, and they've kept checking in on me throughout my follow-up care since then, which I really appreciate. They warned me it might hurt more since my skin was pretty tight, but honestly it just felt like the soreness you get the day after a really hard workout. I showered the very next day, and by day 3 I even went out for a driving lesson. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but after a week it already feels like it's just part of my body — I'm getting around just fine now.

I never had much to begin with, so nothing looked right in clothes and I always had to wear padded inserts... but now that I've had the surgery, I honestly can't wait to go buy some pretty lingerie and clothes.

Getting more curious to see how things progress from here, haha.
