After surgery

Here are the pros, cons, and impressions I have gathered up to two months after surgery.

​

(The implants are Mentor Xtra Smooth, 350cc and 310cc, via inframammary incision.)

I decided on surgery out of size regret and with encouragement from people around me! I love a soft feel, so I chose the Mentor Xtra Smooth implant! The consultation at UNE Plastic Surgery was kind, and hearing directly about the surgical method and the short operation time built my trust, so I went ahead.

With a director famous for short operations, the surgery healed stably and cleanly — without major pain, severe swelling, or bruising! And being a private single-doctor clinic, waiting times are short, and the meticulous, kind atmosphere puts you at ease! ????

Two months on, I am doing wonderfully and in good health. (Thank you to the doctor for operating safely and beautifully!)

The post-op swelling felt like armor at week one!

From two weeks to a month, the swelling had mostly disappeared,

and now past two months, I would say it is completely gone!

As for the inframammary scars:

up to about a week, it still felt like an open wound;

from two weeks to a month, the wound had closed, leaving a red, very thin raised line;

now at two months, the scar remains as a soft-edged reddish line!

​

The downsides after surgery: a little of the natural look is traded away, and with an implant in your body, you do need to manage and stay careful consistently! Also, the area a bra must cover grows, making well-fitting underwear harder to find.

And even slight weight gain makes the upper body look fuller, so it calls for more discipline! ????

There were no real health issues to speak of and no serious inconvenience in daily life, so with a little care, I would call it a surgery with high satisfaction!
