It has been two months since my surgery with Dr. Kim Uigeon at UNE.

Before: pectus chest, 75A

After: 75C (Motiva Mini 245, 260cc)

From right after surgery through the first month or two, my chest felt heavy with something like a foreign-body sensation,

but from the two-month mark that feeling is gone and everything is natural.

​

The scars are healing cleanly,

and as for size — through the first month I fretted daily, is it too small? —

but the breasts have gathered nicely now,

and looking at them today: the size is exactly right. Not sizing up was the right call!!

​

The feel still needs to loosen further, but time seems to be the answer.

From two months, lying face-down and on my side both became possible.

I am hoping the feel and tissue keep softening until they are indistinguishable from the real thing.

Conclusion:

Not getting greedy and following the director's advice was the right choice.

Dr. Kim Uigeon's eye is superb! Thank you for operating so gently and beautifully.

Subfascial with Motiva Mini was absolutely the right call. (As an exercise lover, for whom not moving hurts more than any surgery, being able to train without much restriction from two months was everything.)

Time is the answer.
