Hello! It has been a while since I last wrote ☺️. I had looked into several clinics originally, but with a surgeon who specializes solely in breasts, the depth of experience was clearly different.
With so much going on, a whole month flew by.
The month that felt like it would never come has finally...!!!! passed, hahaㅜㅠㅠ By now I am actually closer to the two-month mark ???? My satisfaction climbs by the day ????
My one-week post has my pre-surgery measurements and photos, my immediate post-op review, my criteria for choosing a clinic, and general surgery info!
Photos at the one-month mark —
what do you think!! I am very pleased ☺️☺️
- I love it ???????????????? Of course more swelling will come down, but even accounting for that, I am very happy!! Time really is the medicine with breast surgery. (ps. Thank you, Director, for shaping exactly the silhouette I had imagined, haha.)
- The top-wear fit I could only imagine now shows up exactly as pictured ㅠㅠ Imagination become reality.. so moving ????
This is the fit with a bra on!! Very happy with it, haha. With my thin, low-fat frame, I think this volume is exactly right! haha
???? My honest notes at exactly one month..
- My tissue is extremely tight and I started from a truly tiny AAA, so there was no one-month miracle of arms swinging freely right away! It took time. My arms lifted properly about a month and ten days in. Recovery varies by person, but for someone with the most surgically challenging profile — firm, tight tissue on an ultra-slim frame (people around me say they have hardly seen anyone slimmer.. ㅠㅠ) — I am grateful to the director for operating in a way that let even me recover this quickly ㅠㅠ...
- There was a period of some discomfort from Mondor's cords, but I was told they resolve naturally with time, and sure enough the symptoms are gone now — bliss! (Searching around, it is common after breast surgery. No need to have worried, haha.)
Shopping for tops used to come with constraints — I would deliberate forever and weigh everything before buying. Now I buy what I want without hesitation and wear it with the fit I hoped for, which delights me. If I am this happy at one month, how much better will it be as the swelling keeps fading ☺️
And this is my before photo! hahaha
???? Nearing two months — how is it now! + a question
- Time really is the cure with breast surgery, haha. The further along, the happier I am!! Even more than at one month!! haha. People meeting me for the first time this year compliment me saying I look like a fashion model! (Goodness, thank you ????)
- That said.. my war with chest breakouts has begun, haha. Honestly this is my own constitution, unrelated to the clinic ㅜㅜㅋㅋ My skin — face or chest — has always been hypersensitive (truly a body of extreme difficulty, whether for surgery or skincare! haha), and the occasional few chest spots have lately multiplied enough that I should get treatment. I suspect it is from sleeping in the sports bra plus being prone to sweating ㅠㅠ How is everyone else faring??
???? Even if the breakouts sketch constellations across my chest, I would still take today over my old chest! haha. I never wear revealing clothes anyway, so the spots hardly matter.
I wonder how everyone else is doing!
Hope this one helps as well.
