Right up until the surgery I was really nervous and under a lot of stress, but from the moment I arrived at the clinic, Dr. Kim, the coordinator and even the operating room staff all treated me so kindly that my nerves eased on their own. A clinic that specializes in breast surgery really is different. You can feel the know-how of someone who has focused only on breast surgery.
He explained everything to me in detail, point by point, and reassured me all the way through, so I was able to go into surgery trusting him.
My breast structure was a somewhat more complicated case than usual, and even so I was told that Dr. Kim finished the surgery in about 52 minutes, which really surprised me.
After the anesthesia I have no memory at all, and when I opened my eyes I was already in the recovery room.
I came around sooner than I had expected too, so after resting for a little while I was able to take a taxi home the same day.
On the first day there was of course pain and discomfort, but I thought of it as a natural part of the process after surgery and rested plenty.
From the second day the pain gradually began to fade, and by the third day moving around was much easier.
By the fourth day I had come along far enough to get back to almost my usual routine.
The healing went much more smoothly than I had expected, which I was really happy about.
Most of all, what I am most grateful for is the outcome of the surgery.
Because of the structure of my breasts, I carried stress and insecurity about it for a long time, ever since I was young ㅠㅠ
Every time someone looked at my chest and asked what was wrong with it, my confidence dropped a lot and it affected me psychologically as well, but thanks to Dr. Kim's skill my breast shape now looks genuinely natural and normal, and I am so happy that I no longer have to worry about it ㅠㅠ
