Motiva Subfascial Axillary Incision Surgery: Month 1 Review

I'm about a month out from my Motiva subfascial breast augmentation through axillary incision with Dr. Kim Uigeon at UNE Plastic Surgery!

I came across some reviews online and looked into it more through their website and cafe reviews. The under-half-hour surgery time and the no-drain, no-stitches part really sold me, so I booked a consultation right away!

At the consultation they went through a whole presentation explaining why the surgery is so quick, what the benefits of that are, and covered other details too, so it felt really professional and I liked that.

After the surgery, in the recovery room, it wasn't so much the pain but I was so cold that my whole body tensed up and I was shivering a lot... that was honestly the hardest part.

Once I got home, the day of surgery was more uncomfortable than I expected, but I slept all day on day 2, and by day 3 most of the pain was gone! On days 4-5 I was able to wash my hair and shower by myself, being careful, but it wasn't too bad at all!

After that I felt like I could pretty much do normal daily activities, and if you work a desk job I think day 5-7 would be more than doable!

I do work that involves lifting heavy things and being physical, so just to be safe I waited as long as I could and went back to work on day 13, and I was totally fine!

Starting around week 2, my breasts started dropping into shape and the lower part felt soft!

I'm at the one month mark now and the upper part is still a bit firm, but below the nipple it's gotten so soft it's honestly surprising...! And I can feel it getting softer as time goes by! I'm hoping the upper part softens up more too, so I'm just waiting it out.

Most of the swelling seems to be gone, but I think there's still some minor swelling left so I need to keep watching it. I'm a little worried it might go down more from this size...!

For me it wasn't that I had no sensation, it was more that my nipples were overly sensitive, which was tough, but that's mostly settled down now!

My clothes definitely fit better and I feel more confident now...!! When I meet friends some of them are like 'wait did your chest get bigger?' or 'where'd that volume come from?' and some even straight up asked if I got surgery!

Since I barely ever need to raise my arms overhead anyway, I just wear tank tops or cardigans and the fit is so good... The scar looks like a straight line. Now that I'm at the one month mark I started using scar cream, so I'm going to be diligent about applying it!
