Mentor Breast Augmentation for Asymmetry Correction: Week 1 Review

So I used to have sagging, uneven boobs — one side bigger than the other, one nipple bigger too — and honestly I could get away with wearing just an AAA sports bra even as an adult, the same size I'd been stuffing with push-up pads since I was a student. I used to tell myself that a smaller chest made me look slimmer and my clothes fit better, so I just lived with it... but right before summer hit, I reached peak appearance-anxiety mode and finally decided I couldn't take it anymore. The first thing I did was ask a friend with the biggest, prettiest chest I know for a hospital recommendation, and that's how I found UNE. Funny enough, she's an influencer, and she got her recommendation from another influencer friend who actually saw the results in person and said it was done safely and beautifully. You know how it is — for us research-obsessed types, a trusted personal recommendation is honestly the best way to go. There are so many clinics in Gangnam, and with Korea basically being the plastic surgery capital of the world, I feel really lucky to have ended up at UNE. I've had my eyes, nose, a forehead reduction, hair transplant, you name it — tons of procedures — and I've never once had a side effect, because I research everything down to the last review before committing. At UNE there's only ONE doctor — Dr. Kim Uigeon — so there's zero chance of a ghost surgery situation!!! It doesn't have that generic "big hospital" feel, but it does get busy because so many patients go there — seriously! There's a dedicated anesthesiologist too, so I could just trust the process and fall asleep. The coordinator and staff were all so kind that I honestly wanted to show up at the clinic every day :) No bleeding, and the discomfort was way more manageable than I expected — remember that part. Depending on the implant fill and your own chest shape, you can honestly go as big as you want. I told them to make mine as big as possible. Right up until the surgery, Dr. Kim kept talking things through with me based on my chest shape so we could land on the prettiest result together, so I trusted him completely and went through with it. Obviously any surgery comes with some pain, but out of every procedure I've had, breast surgery only hurt on the actual day of surgery — after that it really wasn't bad at all. This just proves how much the doctor's technique matters. I'm so happy with the results. Every time I catch my reflection my heart skips a beat, and my boyfriend, who kept saying before the surgery that I didn't need to bother, totally changed his tune afterward lol. I'm beyond satisfied. I went back and forth so much between Motiva and Mentor, but since texture mattered more to me, I went with Mentor and have zero regrets!! If I had to sum it up — if keeping a firm, defined shape matters more to you, go Motiva. If you want that natural, soft feel, go Mentor. That's just how it felt to me. But if you're on the thinner side...

...Motiva tends to suit people who already have a bit of breast tissue, while average or curvier body types usually look better with Mentor. I barely bruised at all, and I also got trapezius Botox and underarm lipo done at the same time — I'm so happy with everything. I couldn't get good photos, but trust me, it looks so pretty in person. I swell easily in general, so I kept wearing the compression band and fixation bra pretty much nonstop. If you're like me and get some breast tenderness before or after your period, you might feel a bit more pain after surgery than the average person. My style icon is Winter, but I guess now I'm more of a glam Winter lol. I seriously recommend breast surgery to everyone — Winter out, bye!
