Breast augmentation before and after — real patient review | UNE Plastic Surgery

Before surgery — look at my 75B that barely filled out, with basically no upper chest fullness... I hated it so much

My embarrassing band marks up top...

When picking a hospital, my top priorities were: 1) safety (an anesthesiologist actually on site), 2) one doctor handling everything (no factory-style clinics for me), 3) whether the doctor seemed annoyed or dismissive when I asked questions during consultations. The reason I cared so much is that I'd already had rhinoplasty and lipo done elsewhere, and both experiences were rough. The clinic where I got my nose done turned out to be a shadow-doctor factory clinic that got sued and eventually shut down (thank god they had CCTV footage...). The lipo clinic seemed reputable, but the doctor looked super bothered the whole time — the consultation felt like it lasted maybe 10 minutes, and even though they said an anesthesiologist would be present, it didn't feel like an actual anesthesiologist was handling things. After getting burned by both places, I told myself I had to be way more careful this time. So here's why I went to UNE for my first consultation: 1. Short surgery time — since they use medication and cut into tissue, there's bound to be some bleeding, and I figured the less time all that takes, the better it is for your body. Hearing that the surgery could be done in under 30 minutes made me trust that Dr. Kim's skills were solid and that it wouldn't be as taxing on my body. I also saw somewhere on YouTube that the longer the incision area stays exposed to air during surgery, the more pain you deal with afterward. I can't skip the surgery day story. Remember how I mentioned earlier that during my lipo, I wasn't sure the anesthesiologist actually put me under? Well, obviously once you're on the table and sedated, you can't exactly go 'wait a second!!' — they just say 'okay, starting anesthesia~' and you're out, so there's no real way to check who's doing what. This time I made sure to actually verify, and sure enough, the same anesthesiologist I'd seen in photos beforehand was the one who showed up. The moment I saw him I thought, 'okay, good' — and then I don't remember a thing after that, lol. Now for recovery. I work as a hairstylist...! So you can imagine all the horror stories I'd heard — breast surgery hurts the most, you can't lift your arms, you can't even flush the toilet, that kind of thing. Since my job is so arm-intensive, I kept putting the surgery off because of all those scary stories. But wow, turns out after resting for just 2 days, I was already in good enough shape to go back to work! It honestly surprised me. I even started wondering if Dr. Kim's technique is just that good, because I had zero bruising... barely any swelling... and the incisions looked so clean... This has never happened to me after any procedure before. I planned on resting about 4 days, but I ended up going back to work after just 2, lol. That's how manageable the discomfort was — way less than I expected!!!! Before the surgery I was a 75B that barely filled out, with almost no upper chest fullness, and Dr. Kim told me my chest was sort of a pectus-type chest that never fully developed. That's probably why I never had any cleavage, so wearing swimsuits or anything low-cut always made me feel so down, and I avoided taking pictures. Anyone else know that feeling?? Now that I'm imagining myself as a 75D, I'm so excited to see the magic unfold at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months!!! Yayyy~~~ I can finally wear cute clothes and take all the cute pictures I want. Just thinking about it makes me so happy. I'll come back with an update in a month!
