Breast Augmentation, Inframammary Incision: 1 Month Update, D Cup Result

Hey everyone!

It's already been a month since my surgery, so I wanted to write up a review!

To cut to the chase...

"Why didn't I do this sooner?"

is basically all I can think these days.

Pre-Op Consultation

The biggest reason I picked UNE was my consultation with Dr. Kim Uigeon.

It lasted almost 90 minutes, and even looking back now, I think it might be the best 90 minutes I've ever spent in my life.

I never once felt pressured into a specific implant, and he walked me through every option that actually fit my body type.

What really stood out was how confidently he explained every single incision method out there.

By the end of the consultation, I actually felt relaxed, and a lot of my fear about the surgery just melted away.

And then at the very end, he even showed me surgery footage...

my trust in him shot through the roof after that.

Post-Op Pain

This is probably what everyone's most curious about!

As of the one-month mark,

the discomfort has been basically nonexistent.

Honestly, I forget I even had surgery most days.

I hauled a heavy suitcase around on a trip

and long drives were never an issue either.

There's zero inconvenience in my day-to-day life.

I get why people say the recovery here is close to no discomfort — it's earned that reputation for a reason.

Scar Progress

I went with the inframammary incision.

The scar hasn't completely faded yet, but it's already really thin.

More importantly, it's basically invisible once I have a bra on, so it doesn't bother me much.

I'm keeping up with the scar cream and hoping it fades even more.

How My Clothes Fit Now

The biggest change after surgery has definitely been how my clothes fit.

It's still so wild to me that I actually have cleavage now when I put on a bra, lol.

I catch myself doing a double-take every time I look in the mirror.

All my old clothes are getting a second life right now.

The cleavage really comes together so nicely.

One-Month Checkup

I went in for my one-month checkup recently, and Dr. Kim Uigeon was just as kind and sweet as always.

He said my recovery was looking great,

and he'd told me before, "You'll definitely end up a D cup,"

and sure enough, when I actually measured, I really did come out a D cup.

I was worried the cleavage wouldn't come together well, but he actually said if things keep going the way they are, it might come together too much,

and told me not to push everything together too tight with my bra, lol.

He also said I'm cleared for all kinds of exercise now, which made me so happy.

Reactions From People Around Me

My friends noticed the change and kept asking where I got it done.

So I told them all about my consultation and how the surgery went, and every single one of them saved UNE's contact info.

It never felt like some assembly-line clinic at all —

since it's run under a single-doctor system, I felt like I got so much more careful, personal attention.

One-Month Overall Thoughts

Honestly, out of everything I've spent money on this year, this is the choice I'm happiest with by far.

If you're on the fence about getting breast surgery, I'd really suggest booking a consultation at UNE at least once.
