My real 3-4 month breast augmentation review — UNE Plastic Surgery, Dr. Kim Uigeon, 30-minute surgery
La la la, I'm already at month 4!
The photos I'm posting today are actually from month 3, haha — I've been lazy about posting them.
From month 1 they already felt like my own, nothing weird about them.
Since then, up until now at month 4, the shape just kept settling more and more.
They went from a UU shape to this round, W-ish shape now.
The shape is so pretty, honestly.
I barely had any upper chest before, so I was worried it'd look obvious,
but going with the dual plane technique was such a good call.
Even in photos, it doesn't look that obvious, right?
They even bounce a bit when I'm running.
A little perkier than fully natural, but honestly, this is more than enough for me.
Mentor Xtra is the best, seriously.
I've always worn low-cut tops anyway,
and now those clothes are really shining, mwahahaha!
These were huge factors in my decision to get surgery, so I want to write them out again:
1. A friend recommended this place, and I paid for it myself,
and now I totally get why she recommended it.
During the consultation, both the coordinator and Dr. Kim Uigeon
were so kind and made me feel really comfortable.
They were careful not to say anything that could make me feel bad about having a small chest,
and I genuinely felt cared for and looked after.
2. I'm a huge chicken when it comes to surgery, so I put this off for 7 years.
But the surgery itself only takes about 30 minutes,
which means less time under sedation, and that made me so much less anxious.
The most important thing was that my body wasn't treated like just another surgical case,
it felt like they actually treated it as something precious, and that put me at ease.
3. I could get back to normal life right after surgery.
I run my own business, so I had to get back to work right away — I only rested for 2 days and then I was up and about just fine.
Of course I avoided overusing my arms or lifting anything heavy!
4. I could start working out again from the 1-month mark.
I love working out, so by week 2 I couldn't sit still and tried exercising — ended up with a bruise on my chest, oops...
Lesson learned: listen to your doctor! He didn't scold me, just worried about me, haha.
He said they'll still keep settling more,
so I'll be back to post updates at 6 months, 9 months, and the 1-year mark, hehe.
