I am so comfortable now that I catch myself lying on my side or breaking into a jog without thinking.
Early after surgery there was enough pulling that raising my arms fully overhead was a struggle,
but now only a slight stiffness remains, and the full overhead stretch is no problem at all.
Above all, there was truly almost no pain.
I felt firsthand that Dr. Kim Uigeon's reputation did not come from nowhere.
As a breast specialist, he made the whole surgical process feel remarkably steady,
and my operation finished in a brief 41 minutes, which kept the burden light.
Swelling and bruising were reeeally minimal — far less than I expected — and the recovery was smooth overall.
That said, as the swelling faded past the one-month mark, they feel a little.. no, quite a bit..? smaller than at first,
so a slight wistfulness lingers — should I have gone a little bigger…
Even so, the pain, the swelling, and the pace of recovery all left me satisfied,
and to anyone deliberating over breast surgery, this is an experience I can gladly vouch for.
