#Motiva #UNE Plastic Surgery #BreastSurgery1MonthReview #75ATo75FullCDCup #Axillary Incision #Dr. Kim Uigeon
Hi everyone!! I\'m sharing my one-month breast surgery update ^^
I\'ve always been naturally thin with a small chest, so I never really needed a bra. I just wore padded tanks most of the time. When I went on a diet, my small chest became even flatter. That\'s when I decided to have surgery and started consulting with highly-reviewed hospitals in Seoul. Among them, UNE Plastic Surgery impressed me the most during my consultation, so I decided to have my procedure there.
I learned so much about my breast characteristics that I never knew before, and the surgeon explained the evolution of implants and the pros and cons of different brands. After choosing the implant, I tried on sizing bras starting from the recommended size up to larger options to confirm the size and clothing fit. I decided on a full C to D cup with 360cc on the left and 340cc on the right using Motiva implants via axillary incision. The surgery was scheduled for one month later.
Since my job involves heavy arm use, I mentioned during consultation that I wanted an inframammary incision. The surgeon recommended the axillary approach instead, explaining that recovery pain would be similar after about a week of rest, but scarring would be less visible. I trusted their recommendation and went with the axillary incision. Surgery was scheduled for 2:30 PM, so I fasted from the night before and arrived at the hospital around 2 PM. After washing up and rinsing, I changed into disposable underwear and surgical attire. Pre-operative photos were taken, the incision design was marked, I signed the consent form, lay on the surgical table, chatted with the anesthesiologist, and then fell asleep. When I woke up, surgery was complete! Including anesthesia, the whole procedure took about 40 minutes.
As the anesthesia wore off, I was shivering uncontrollably from the cold. Gradually I warmed up and woke more fully. It was around 7 PM when I got up. I received aftercare products and prescriptions, then was discharged with a guardian. Since it was a Friday evening, public transportation seemed difficult, so I took a taxi home. If surgery had been scheduled for the morning, I probably could have taken public transit home.
On surgery day, definitely wear a nipple patch and button-up shirts—your arms won\'t lift, making other clothing impossible. I wore a compression garment and upper band with a cut-out at the chest area. My nipples were sensitive and sore immediately after surgery, so the nipple patches helped reduce discomfort.
After getting home, I couldn\'t lift my arms and was in pain, so my family helped me wash my face and brush my teeth through day three. I drank water through a straw. The hospital said showering was possible the same day or next day, but I wanted to be extra cautious and take it slow for better healing. My family washed my hair on day three, and I cleaned my body with a damp towel daily through day five.
Starting day six, I showered on my own. On day seven, I visited the hospital for a follow-up. There was some swelling, but the surgeon said the surgery went great and recovery was progressing beautifully. I removed the upper band and was told to continue wearing the compression garment for the remaining three weeks, with another follow-up appointment one week later. Through the first week after surgery, swelling and soreness meant I\'d wake up, eat, take medication, and go back to sleep. Since I couldn\'t move properly and was resting constantly, my hips and lower back ached. That said, except when using upper body strength to get up or pick things up, chest pain wasn\'t severe. By one week post-op, I was back at work with no issues moving my arms or working.
I\'d recommend taking at least five days off after surgery if possible. Now at about one month post-op, I\'ve transitioned out of the compression garment and into a support sports bra. The clothing fit is truly satisfying, and I find myself touching my chest out of wonder! At one month, the implants aren\'t super soft yet, but the surgeon says they\'ll soften over time, nipple tenderness will fade, and the cleavage will improve. I\'m looking forward to that. It\'s also wonderful that the hospital continues to monitor and care for me throughout recovery.
If I could go back in time, I\'d get surgery with Dr. Kim Uigeon even sooner. If you\'re interested in breast surgery and considering it, definitely consult with UNE Plastic Surgery—you\'ll choose them. Thank you for reading this long breast surgery review. Wishing you success with your breast surgery!!!
