Breast augmentation before and after — real patient review | UNE Plastic Surgery

I had wanted breast surgery since my twenties, but taking time off work was hard, so I kept postponing — until this time, when I researched seriously and went to consultations. I consulted at three clinics in total, and UNE felt the most comfortable of them.

For safety reasons, it had to be Motiva for me,

and I preferred one without the chip if possible.

I appreciated that the director let my boyfriend sit in on the consultation, and his explanations were easy to follow. I could ask questions freely, and the aftercare and follow-up policies sounded reasonable, so I decided on this clinic. Deciding on cosmetic surgery alone felt daunting, so having someone listen alongside me was a relief ????

Two weeks after the consultation I went up to Seoul for blood work, an ECG, and an X-ray, with surgery set for early February. Just in case, I had an ultrasound at a breast clinic in Busan — and a small lump turned up, so I had a mammotome procedure before the augmentation. Two weeks after the mammotome, right before Lunar New Year, I had my surgery at UNE ????

Thanks to that, I got a preview(?) of the compression band.

You probably all know how short Dr. Kim Uigeon's operations run — I believe mine took about 37 minutes.

After waking from general anesthesia I felt a little cold and drained ????

After surgery:

Through days 2-3 there was swelling, stinging along the cleavage, and armpit pain;

from day 4 I could shower fairly comfortably and go out little by little.

On day 7 I went to work and even did a 12-hour shift, and it was more manageable than expected.

On day 8 I went to Seoul for Caps care; the director readjusted my compression bra and checked the band.

Since my armpit area pulled and raising my arms fully was hard, he told me to do arm stretches too ????

My skin is naturally on the firm side, so he said I would need the upper band a while longer. Aside from not being able to wear pretty clothes, nothing bothers me much, haha.

I tolerate pain well, so I expected a completely comfortable recovery — that was not quite the case ???? — but it was only rough for about three days, and I am much better now ????‍♀️
