Motiva 320cc Demi: Week 1 Review After Mammotome (Early 20s)

I've wanted to get breast augmentation since my early 20s, but it was hard to take time off work so I kept putting it off. This time I finally looked into it seriously and went in for consultations. I consulted at 3 places total, and out of all of them, UNE felt the most comfortable.

Since safety was my top priority, Motiva was a no-brainer for me.

I wanted to go with a chip-free implant if possible.

I loved that Dr. Kim Uigeon let my boyfriend sit in on the consultation with me, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I could ask questions freely, and the explanations about aftercare and follow-up support were solid too, so I decided to go with UNE. Making this decision on my own felt like a lot of pressure, so having someone there with me put my mind at ease lol

Two weeks after the consultation, I went to Seoul for blood tests, an EKG, and an X-ray, and scheduled surgery for early February. Just to be safe, I also got an ultrasound at a breast clinic in Busan, and they found a small lump, so I had to get a Mammotome procedure done before the augmentation. So I had the Mammotome done, and two weeks later, right before Lunar New Year, I had my surgery at UNE lol

Thanks to that, I basically got a preview of what wearing the compression band feels like lol

Everyone probably already knows Dr. Kim Uigeon's surgeries are quick — I think mine took around 37 minutes.

After waking up from general anesthesia, I felt a bit cold and rough lol

From day 2 to day 3, I had swelling, soreness around my cleavage, and some pain in my armpits,

By day 4, showering got a lot easier and I started going out here and there.

By day 7, I actually went back to work and did a 12-hour shift, and it went better than I expected.

On day 8, I went to Seoul for capsule care, and Dr. Kim readjusted my boob shape and checked my compression band.

Since my armpit area was tight and I couldn't raise my arms all the way, he told me to do some arm stretches too lol

Since my skin is naturally on the firmer side, he said I'd probably need to wear the upper band a bit longer than usual. Other than not being able to wear cute clothes, I don't really have any major complaints lol

I usually handle pain pretty well so I thought it'd be close to no discomfort, but that wasn't really the case lol. Still, it was only rough for about 3 days, and I'm feeling a lot better now lol
