I've wanted breast augmentation since my twenties, but it was hard to take time off work so I kept putting it off. This time I decided to seriously look into it and visited several clinics for consultations. I went to three different places, and UNE Plastic Surgery felt the most comfortable to me.

Safety was my priority, so I was set on Motiva implants.

I wanted to avoid implants with chips if possible.

I really appreciated that Dr. Kim let my boyfriend sit in on the consultation with me. The explanations were clear and easy to understand, so I felt confident about everything. I was able to ask questions comfortably, and the information about post-op care and follow-up services was reassuring, so I decided to have my surgery here. Cosmetic surgery felt like a big decision to make alone, but being able to have him there with me gave me peace of mind????

Two weeks after my consultation, I went to Seoul for blood work, an EKG, and X-rays, and we scheduled the surgery for early February. Just to be safe, I had an ultrasound done at a breast surgery clinic in Busan and they found a small mass, so I had to do a mammotome biopsy before the augmentation. After the mammotome, I had my surgery at UNE two weeks later, right before Lunar New Year????

Thanks to that, I got to experience wearing a compression band early????

Dr. Uigeon Kim is known for having fast surgery times, and I heard mine took about 37 minutes.

When I woke up from general anesthesia, I felt a bit cold and weak????

After Surgery

Days 2–3 had swelling, tenderness in the breast crease, and armpit pain.

By day 4, I could shower more comfortably and started going out a little.

On day 7, I went back to work and did a 12-hour shift—it went better than expected.

On day 8, I went to Seoul for my post-op check. Dr. Kim examined my capsules, readjusted my straps, and checked my compression band. He noticed my armpit was tight and making it hard to raise my arms, so he told me to do arm stretches????

Since my skin is naturally quite firm, he said I'd need to wear the upper band a bit longer. Other than not being able to wear cute clothes, there's really nothing too inconvenient????

I usually handle pain well so I thought it would be painless, but that wasn't the case???? Still, it was only rough for about 3 days, and now I'm feeling much better????‍♀️
