Motiva 285cc Axillary Incision: 1 Month Review

Hey everyone! Can't believe it's already been a month since my surgery, so I'm back with an update!

I got Motiva 285cc on both sides, done through axillary incision!

For my one month review, honestly it's kind of amazing how little my daily life has been affected! The first 3 days after surgery were rough, but after that I adjusted pretty quickly and things have been going well.

Since I wanted a natural look, I was torn between UNE and another clinic! When it came down to the surgery time and technique though, UNE just felt like the better fit for me. They're known for their 27 min. breast augmentation, so that gave me a lot of confidence, and since I heard so many patients said the discomfort was manageable, I ended up picking UNE in the end.

After surgery, my right side barely bothered me at all, and I only had a little discomfort on the left. I'd already been told my skin type might make things a bit more sensitive, so I wasn't too worried about it. I kept applying the stretch mark cream the clinic gave me and took my capsular contracture medication consistently.

Now that it's been a month, the swelling has definitely gone down, so my chest feels a little smaller than right after surgery lol. But since it's the size I wanted, I have zero regrets.

They said I could start cardio and lower body workouts at the one month mark, but I'm just doing simple stretches at home for now! I guess I naturally became more cautious about post-op care. I finished my whole month's worth of capsular contracture meds too! Thankfully I didn't run into any major side effects. A lot of people mention breaking out on their chest or back, but weirdly enough I only broke out on the back of my right arm lol. It showed up right around when I finished the meds, so I think if I just keep applying medication and taking care of it, it'll clear up soon.

I have to wear a sports bra until 6 months, so I'm steering clear of low-cut tanks or short sleeves for now! Since I can't wear them outside, I end up putting on little fashion shows by myself at home lol. I really can't wait to be done with the sports bra, haha.

They said I could sleep on my side too, but since I've been using that Sunny pillow, I actually got used to sleeping on my back again lol. So now I just stick to sleeping flat on my back.

Compared to the first day after surgery, my skin has loosened up a lot, but it's still pretty firm. After capsule care sessions it definitely gets softer, but then it goes back after some time passes. I think I'll need more time to really see how the texture settles.

I don't even want to think about what I looked like before surgery anymore lol.

I agonized over this decision so much after becoming an adult, but I'm really happy with it now, and I hope it gets even softer to the touch soon!
