After Surgery! (One Week)

●Why I Chose UNE●

So once I made up my mind to get a breast augmentation, I asked my closest friend if she knew anyone who'd had the surgery and could recommend a good clinic!!

Reading reviews online is fine and all, but a recommendation from someone you actually know is way better, right~

That's when she told me about a friend of hers who had a really good experience at UNE Plastic Surgery~ Honestly this was my first time getting any kind of plastic surgery, so I had no clue what to look for, but her friend mentioned that UNE isn't one of those factory-style clinics, and that Dr. Kim personally consults with and treats every patient himself!

(Honestly, I work at a hospital myself so I know all too well the downsides of factory-style clinics..lol)

And here's the most important part!! I really loved that they customize everything to your body type~! It wasn't just about going big for me — I really didn't want to end up looking bulky, and hearing they'd tailor the surgery to my body to get a pretty result was exactly what sold me...

(After getting the recommendation I looked everything up on YouTube too, and I was already feeling really confident about how safe it seemed)

Personal recommendation + not a factory-style clinic + body-customized surgery + safety

I went into my consultation with pretty high expectations, and honestly, they lived up to it^^ I probably should've checked out a few other places, but I just booked right then and there and even got my pre-anesthesia tests done the same day~! lolol

(I'm a total J personality, so I'm seriously thorough about this stuff. I did NOT go in without doing my homework!!!)

●My Review●

Before the surgery, Dr. Kim did the marking/design himself and explained everything to me in detail one more time, which I really appreciated~!

That put me at ease, and even before I met with Dr. Kim, the coordinator walked me through everything and patiently answered all my questions. I asked so many that I felt kind of bad, but Coordinator Jihyun stayed kind and thorough the entire time — she was seriously the best.

They told me it wouldn't hurt much so I wasn't too worried, and of course I had total confidence in Dr. Kim's skills~ But in the middle of it all, the coordinator held my hand in the operating room, and even though I didn't show it, I was honestly touched, haha.

The surgery was over, but sadly I didn't get picked for the special pain management...

Dr. Kim came in afterward and told me everything went well, checked my chest again, and the surgery only took 39 minutes!

Honestly it felt like I just closed my eyes for a second and it was already done~~

I slept for an hour in the car on the way home and felt so much better once I woke up!

Here's the important part!! Things got better SO much faster than I expected with every day that passed!? On day 3, while taking my meds, I actually caught myself thinking, wait, it's only been 3 days since surgery? — that's how good I felt.

On day two I was able to shower, and when I looked at my whole body without clothes on, there they were... boobs that weren't there before!!! Ugh, I wish I'd done this the second I turned twenty; I regretted waiting so long. I'd been worried since I didn't have much upper chest volume, but I ended up so, so happy with how it turned out!

And now, a week later, the shape looks even prettier than before — the upper fullness is gradually settling down into a nice U-shape!

As for pain right now, it's really just some sensitivity coming back around my nipples, so it's a little uncomfortable if something rubs against them, but otherwise there's no pain in my breasts and I can lift my arms just fine for everyday things~!
