Axillary Incision Breast Augmentation: Month 3 Upper Band Prescription Review

Finally hit month 3 after my breast surgery!! Everyone gets breast surgery for their own satisfaction, right?? I'm the type of person who gets rid of even a mole somewhere nobody else can see if it bothers me... breast shape isn't something people really notice once you're wearing a bra, but for me, the shape actually matters a lot!! This time when I went in for my follow-up with Dr. Kim, he told me that because of my body type I need to keep wearing the upper band until month 6. He kind of scared me, saying that otherwise my nipples would end up pointing downward, lol. I looked through a ton of reviews wondering if anyone else had this issue, and it seems like it happens when there's a bigger gap between your collarbone and nipple (mine is pretty far apart, lol). If you're planning breast surgery, this might be something good to keep in mind!! Seeing how Dr. Kim Uigeon still pays this much attention to breast shape even after surgery, and how he noticed how much this kind of thing mattered to me and prescribed accordingly, made me really feel like he genuinely thinks about his patients. Or maybe he's just a perfectionist? Either way, I never had this kind of experience at those factory-style clinics!! Good stuff!! Also, my tissue is pretty firm, so I honestly didn't believe it when people said firm breasts like mine would soften up in just 3 months... but once I actually hit the 3-month mark, my tissue really did loosen up and the upper fullness went down a lot!! It was kind of amazing! So my advice is don't stress too much if things feel hard at first — just give it time and it'll work itself out!! Oh, and since I went with the axillary incision, I have a scar in my armpit, and with this kind of incision the scar almost always ends up raised, like a keloid... But this time Dr. Kim Uigeon said it would be sad to leave a scar sticking out like that, so he's giving me some kind of keloid injection or something like that (for those of us whose scars come out raised, of course). This is honestly the first clinic I've seen that manages scars this thoroughly too. Back when I got lipo, I did it behind my family's back and the scar ended up red and swollen, so they found out anyway — and even now, 2 years later, it's still kind of red and puffy. Since the discomfort after surgery with Dr. Kim was so manageable that I was back to work right away, I really feel like UNE takes amazing care of you even after the surgery is done!! If you're thinking about getting this done, definitely put UNE on your list, pleeeeaaase.
