Breast Augmentation Week 2 Review: Went Home Alone by Taxi After 33 Min. Surgery

1. Before Surgery 

I couldn't sleep well the night before surgery so I was pretty nervous, but all the staff and nurses were so kind that it really put me at ease. 

Right before the surgery I adjusted my size a bit, and Dr. Kim took that into account and helped me relax, which made everything feel really comfortable.

2. Right After Surgery

The surgery took about 33 min., and I healed smoothly enough that I was able to take a taxi home by myself. 

The compression garment was uncomfortable, sure, but other than that the discomfort was pretty much nonexistent, which honestly surprised me.

I heard some people say their armpit area hurt a lot, but luckily I didn't have any of that kind of discomfort at all. 

Instead, my nipples got pretty sensitive, and if clothes rubbed against them it really stung, so make sure you grab some nipple patches!

3. Week 1

There was a lot of swelling and the compression garment/upper band felt pretty tight, but honestly even with the swelling the shape looked so pretty that I loved it. 

Seriously, everyone — please go one size bigger... T_T

Other than diligently wearing the compression garment, there wasn't really anything else that was hard, so I was fine.

4. Week 2

The texture hasn't fully softened up yet, but the major swelling seems to be going down at this point. 

Because of the compression garment I couldn't wear low-cut tops, but I put on a sports bra for just one day and honestly thought, wow, I'm so glad I got this surgery done, and so glad I found a good clinic and a good doctor.

Again, I really recommend going one size bigger than what you're thinking... T_T
