1. Before Surgery
I was worried because I hadn't slept well before the procedure, but all the staff and nurses were incredibly kind and helpful. It put me at ease.
We adjusted the size right before surgery, and the doctor incorporated my feedback and helped calm my nerves—I felt completely comfortable.
2. Immediately After Surgery
The procedure took about 33 minutes, and recovery was quick—I was able to take a taxi home by myself.
The compression garment was naturally snug, but other than that, I was surprised to have no pain.
Some people mentioned soreness in the underarm area, but fortunately I didn't experience that discomfort.
Instead, my nipples became quite sensitive, and rubbing against clothing caused pain—so definitely bring nipple covers and keep them handy!
3. Week One
There was significant swelling and the compression garment and band felt tight, but even with the swelling, the shape looked so good that I was happy with the size.
I'd really recommend going one size larger than you initially think...
Other than wearing the compression garment consistently, I didn't have any major difficulties.
4. Week Two
The implants haven't softened yet, but most of the major swelling is starting to subside.
I couldn't wear V-neck tops because of the compression garment, but the one day I wore just a sports bra, I realized I made the right choice getting breast surgery and finding such an excellent clinic and surgeon.
Again, I really mean it—go a size larger than you think...
I'll come back with an update at the four-week mark.
Thank you, Dr. Kim Uigeon!
