240cc Augmentation for a Small Frame: Week 1-2 Review (159cm/40kg, Chest 62)

If I measure my chest width myself, it's more like 62 or 63?

Hi everyone! From my very first consultation, I told them I didn't want to go too big and end up looking bulky—I just wanted something moderate. I had some time before surgery day, so I did a bit of research and got a little tempted to go bigger, but once I realized 240cc was really my max, I actually felt relieved because I didn't have to overthink it anymore. I wasn't nervous at all going into surgery day—went into the OR, felt a little cold for a bit, fell asleep pretty quickly, and woke up with my new chest.

I think the surgery took about 39 minutes, but honestly I wasn't fully conscious when I went in, lol

In the recovery room, the upper band was on so tight that I could barely breathe, so I honestly didn't even notice any pain—I just sat there focusing on breathing. Right around discharge time I started wondering if it actually hurt, so I took my meds plus some Tylenol in the car, and after that I just felt kind of heavy, nothing more. My nipples were sore so I used nipple patches, and after that it was totally manageable.

Days 2-3 were fine as long as I kept up with my meds. Around day 3 or 4 I finally got past some constipation, which was a relief, but then the bloating kicked in—normally my collarbone and ribs show, but they disappeared and my whole body just felt heavy. After that I started walking a lot, and by day 10-11 most of the swelling was gone.

I actually went up to 43kg at one point.

It's pricey, but I hated the bloated feeling more, so I took Gainsu for about 10 days while walking, and I think that combo really helped.

I didn't really feel like I couldn't use my body at all, so maybe the pain management worked—but I wasn't completely without pain on days 1-2, so maybe that's not totally accurate either. Anyway, by day 3 I was already showering on my own, and it's only been 2 weeks but I feel so comfortable that I'm honestly more worried about myself not being careful enough, lol

The shape is still settling in, so I've decided to just wait it out patiently, but I'm happy with the size. It looks like just the right amount for someone with a smaller frame.

Oh, and on the day of surgery my asymmetry wasn't as bad as I expected, so they put 240cc on both sides evenly!

My skin bruises really easily so I was worried about how bad it might look, but the coordinator and Dr. Kim looked at my photos and reassured me it was a normal amount of bruising. After one Healite session the bruise on my left breast disappeared, and after the second session the one on my right side disappeared too—so I ended up wondering just how effective Healite really was.

The bruising near where the anesthesia IV went in was probably just my fault. Anyway, they say a shorter surgery time helps with recovery, and I do feel like my body got light again so quickly, which was such a relief. Dr. Kim also listened carefully to what I wanted and didn't push any unnecessary options, so the consultation felt really comfortable—I booked right away and trusted them with the surgery.
