Motiva 360/380cc Without a Lift After Postpartum Sagging: Week 1 Review

Between pregnancy, breastfeeding, and years of yo-yo dieting, I lost a lot of volume and my breasts got pretty saggy, which stressed me out for a long time. Going to a breast-specialized clinic really does make a difference. Dr. Kim only focuses on breast surgery, and you could tell from all the little details that he really knows what he's doing.

Every single clinic I consulted with recommended a lift, and I went back and forth a lot wondering if I needed one too, but honestly, from the start,

I wasn't expecting to end up with that firm, perky 20-something look with the nipple sitting right in the center. I just wanted breasts that looked good for my age, and since I didn't want extra scarring, I decided to go with implants only, no lift.

I had my surgery at UNE Plastic Surgery with Motiva 360/380cc. I'd heard Dr. Kim is known for doing surgeries fast, and it really was quick and systematic in person. But in my case, my left and right breasts were in different condition, so the side that got 380cc needed an extra step to recreate the inframammary fold, which added about 40 min to that side, from what I was told. That side definitely swelled more and felt like it was healing a bit slower too.

Even in the photos you can see one side is noticeably more swollen.

Going through that actually made me understand why surgery time matters so much.

I stayed really careful for the first 3 days, and starting on day 4 I eased back into normal life — driving my kid to and from school, going on walks, doing housework, all while still being careful.

It's only been a week and I'm already loving the shape. At first I kept second-guessing myself like "isn't this too big?" but now I'm really glad I went with the bigger size. It doesn't look bulky at all — if anything, it brought out a much more feminine line in my upper body. Especially with the upper pole filling in, my clothes fit completely differently now.

There's still swelling to go down and things need to settle more, so the nipple direction isn't quite perfect yet, but I heard that'll gradually correct itself and point forward as time goes on, so I'm looking forward to that. I can't wait to see how much better it'll look once everything settles naturally in a few months :)
