Breast augmentation before and after — real patient review | UNE Plastic Surgery

Childbirth, breastfeeding, and repeated dieting with rebound weight left my breasts deflated and noticeably sagging, which stressed me for a long time. A breast-focused clinic really is different — you can feel the know-how of a surgeon who has concentrated solely on breast surgery.

Every clinic I consulted recommended a lift, and I agonized over whether I needed one. But from the start,

I was not expecting the taut breasts of someone in their 20s or 30s with perfectly centered nipples. I wanted breasts that would look beautiful for my age, and because I was wary of lift scars, I went ahead with implants only, no lift.

I had my surgery at UNE with Motiva 360/380cc. I had heard the director is known for efficient surgery, and indeed the operation was remarkably swift and systematic. In my case, though, my two breasts differed, so the 380cc side needed an added step of creating a new inframammary fold, and I was told the operation took about 40 minutes. The side that required more work was clearly more swollen and slower to recover.

Even in photos, one side looks noticeably more swollen.

Experiencing that actually taught me why operation time matters so much.

I was very careful for the first three days, and from day four I eased back into daily life — carefully driving the kids to school, taking walks, doing housework.

At one week, I already love the shape. At first I wondered, is this too big? But I am so glad I sized up. Rather than looking bulky, my upper-body line has become more feminine. With the upper volume filled in, clothes fit completely differently.

The swelling and settling process is still ongoing, so the nipple direction is not perfect yet, but I am told they will gradually face forward with time. I cannot wait to see how much prettier it will be once everything settles naturally in a few months :)
