Motiva Pectus-Type Chest Correction: Band-Free in a Week After 36-Min Surgery

I had my surgery with Dr. Kim Uigeon at UNE Plastic Surgery.

I had surgery on 4/21 as the very first case of the day, and today marks one week post-op for my check-up.

Dr. Kim said my recovery is going well, so I got to graduate from the fixation band already—feels amazing lol

I bet it'll look even better once I switch to a sports bra in a month.

On the day of surgery, they told me it only took 36 minutes total.

Maybe the quicker the surgery, the less pain you end up with?

I was totally fine taking public transportation home on my own.

(As a mom who's already been through a C-section, this level was nothing.)

From day one, I just slept flat on my back in bed,

though I definitely wasn't used to the heaviness and warmth yet.

Getting up felt like I was starring in my own disaster movie lol

It genuinely felt like my body wasn't my own anymore...

By day 3, I was able to wash my own hair,

and on days 4-5 my chest started making these gurgling sounds which freaked me out a bit, but then I found out everyone goes through it so I relaxed lol

By days 6-7, I was comfortable walking around outside and going about my day.

I could even bathe my kid and get through housework just fine!

I'm leaving my before and after pics here... since I have a pectus-type chest, they said I needed Demi 360cc for the shape to look pretty 

and told me I'd end up around a full C cup.

On the day of surgery, I even had time to take pictures lol

I put my pants on by myself and everything,

opened and closed the hospital and pharmacy doors all on my own too,

so I don't think you need to worry too much about the axillary incision either.

The lower part already feels pretty soft to the touch,

which is kind of amazing, and I think the shape's going to get even prettier, so I'm really happy with it.

exclusively a breast specialty clinic, and Dr. Kim was great from the consultation all the way through to the results, so I'd totally suggest it!!!!!!
