One week since my breast surgery with Dr. Kim Uigeon at UNE Plastic Surgery.

What led me to UNE: it is a breast-focused specialty clinic, and the many reviews plus Dr. Kim Uigeon's YouTube videos settled it for me..^^

Friends advised me to tour several clinics before deciding,

but after months of searching, UNE was the only one I could see~!!

I booked, and on consultation day I set my surgery date before leaving~

Having searched so much and watched so many videos, meeting Dr. Kim felt like meeting a celebrity, haha.

UNE's staff, the consultant, and Dr. Kim Uigeon — the kings of kindness, truly.

He explained everything in detail, and the consultation felt at ease ^^*

On surgery day, honestly, saying it did not hurt would be a lie — it hurt ㅜㅜ

I was not one of the lucky comfortable cases,,,

One moment I was on the table, the next I opened my eyes in the recovery room, breathing hard on purpose to shake off the anesthesia faster~!!

The director came by, I heard the precautions, and went home.

Even at home, the pain kept me from sleeping well ㅠㅠ

Days 1-4 were on the painful side.

Lying down, getting up, and daily tasks were hard without a caregiver,

and I showered with my caregiver's help on day 3~~

Days 5-7:

the pain slowly began easing and my arms started lifting little by little~!!

I should have walked outside more, but with the snow and cold,

I paced around inside the house instead, hehe.

On day 8 I visited the clinic for laser care and saw Dr. Kim ^^

Seeing the director put me at ease, and I have been doing well since~~ haha.

My left breast was more swollen than the right and the nipple quite puffy, which worried me, but the director

explained kindly that the swelling still needs to subside and the surgery went well, checking my armpit incisions too.

He said the upper band could come off, removed it, and even adjusted my compression garment size~!!

The relief!!! haha.

The swelling has drained down to my belly, leaving it rounded like a mom-to-be, and I have gained about 3kg —

(the director says it is all normal ^^)

and once my body recovers a bit more, I plan to start managing it right away~!!

I visit the clinic again this week — hoping the swelling is down much further by then ^^
