Motiva 380cc: Week 1 Review (Accessory Breast Removal Done Together)

It's been a week since I got my breast surgery with Dr. Kim Uigeon at UNE Plastic Surgery.

Height 167 / Weight 53~54

Implants: Motiva 380cc / 380cc

Accessory breast removal

Axillary incision

The reason I chose UNE was mainly because it's a breast-specialty plastic surgery clinic, plus I read a ton of reviews and watched Dr. Kim Uigeon's YouTube videos before deciding.. ^^

People around me told me I should visit a bunch of clinics before deciding.

But after months of nonstop searching, UNE Plastic Surgery was honestly the only place that stood out to me~!!

I booked a consultation and ended up scheduling my surgery date the same day~

I'd done so much research and watched so many videos beforehand that meeting Dr. Kim Uigeon in person felt like meeting a celebrity lol

Everyone at UNE is so kind — the staff, the coordinator, and Dr. Kim Uigeon is basically the king of kindness

He explained everything in detail, so I felt really comfortable during the consultation ^^*

On surgery day, I'd be lying if I said there was no discomfort at all — it did hurt :(

I guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones when it came to pain management,,,

I was lying on the operating table, and when I opened my eyes I was already in the recovery room — I was breathing hard on my own trying to snap out of the anesthesia faster~!!

Dr. Kim came by to check on me, gave me some aftercare instructions, and then I headed home.

Even after I got home, the pain kept me up at night :(

From day 1 to day 4, there was a fair amount of pain.

I couldn't really lie down, get up, or move around on my own — I needed someone with me to help.

I finally got to shower with my caregiver's help on day 3~~

Days 5-7

The pain slowly started easing up and I could gradually lift my arms a little more~!!

I probably should've gone on more walks, but it was snowing and really cold,

so I just walked around inside the house instead lol~

On day 8 I went in for laser treatment and had a checkup with Dr. Kim Uigeon ^^

Seeing him put my mind at ease, and I've been doing well ever since~~ lol

My left breast was more swollen than the right, and the nipple was pretty swollen too, so I was worried, but Dr. Kim

explained in detail that the swelling still needed to go down and that the surgery went well, and he checked the incision under my arm too.

He said I could take off the upper band, so I did, and he even adjusted the size of my compression garment~!!

It felt so much better, seriously lol~

The swelling has moved down to my stomach so I kind of look pregnant now, and I gained about 3kg, but

(Dr. Kim said that's totally normal ^^)

Once my body recovers a bit more, I'm planning to start capsule care right away~!!

I have another hospital visit this week, and I hope the swelling goes down a lot more by then ^^
